I've been playing in silver for sometime and i noticed that some protoss, they cannon up their ramp and juz go for mass zealots and stargate units(mostly voids), and most of the time, I lose to them....hahahaha XD any idea how to defend against them?

well... that is actually an anti-zerg strategy... but its actually not just lots but also stalkers in pvz. So it might be different in pvp... air units in pvp is a triangle. phoenix counter voids, voids counter carriers, carriers counter phoenix. If they go mostly voids then go voidray/phoenix with lots more phoenix than voidrays voidrays are to counter carriers and mothership cuz voids are made to kill elite units rather than numerous cuz of their chargeup and stuffs. chargelots are countered by colo... but chargelots also counter colo themselves in damage. therefore, go stalker/zealot/colo... so that the chargelots can't hit the colo but the colo can hit the chargelots. Moving army always in a ball, don't have naked air units or stalkers or colo. This is lower mobility, but its better if you don't lose your whole army because of some massive lucky timing push that actually happens a lot that's theoretically. The micro is a psychological aspect so you'll need to react accordingly. Get lots of obs and lots of vision (5 or 6 max but not just like 1 or 2 at their base 5 or 6 excluding the one following base and following army... so 7-8) and if they make the mistake of leaving the ball and having naked zealots go and own them with your whole army and send back your air/blink stalkers to kill the air whilst the zealot/colo army is killing their base for a double way attack!! and chrono boost out a void ray or 2 in the figth whilst warping in stalkers... any little anti air can do against the air but as long as you're keeping pressure in his base whilst killing his army he SHOULD be going back to his own base because your zealot/colo have no aa and your phoenix can chase whilst air goes back so by the time they get back their air army is killed already

U know, if a protoss has got a bunch of cannons in his front ramp then u can safely say that he is massing some Nooby void ray or carrier crap. I have vrsed this sorta play quite a lot. What i love doing is just ending the game right then and there. the reason being is that since the protoss has invested so much in the cannons, he must not have many attacking units at all. what i love doing in these sorta situations is just warp prism dt rush him. When most people who go for this fast cannon wall in will usually not gonna have a cannon in his mine line. Probs because he thinks that u are gonna attack from the front--or he is a noob-. anywayz, dt rushing really works for me. however, going with the strats mentioned above would be the safer route.
