So... many people here might be stuck in bronze, especially number 1. It's a frustrating time as you want to get out of the "noob" league and into where most people would call "OK". But then there are also some people who are in silver, and wonder why they lose so much! In bronze, the main problem is that you don't have enough macro. Untill you get to silver you are not even close to maximum worker production to at least 15-20 minutes. With toss, this number is more like 10 minutes with the help of 100% chrono boost. Once you get to silver, the main problem is over-committing to something-- too many collosus, too many zealots, too many roaches, too many hydras, too many medivacs, too many marauders, etc. etc. units that would seem good to have more and more of. If you crack this you should be into high silver/gold, which is where I am right now. I think my problem as of now would be the lack of upgrades. Upgrades are usually ignored until lategame by most silver/bronze and usually the person with the better upgrades win with 200/200 supply. Therefore, if I can manage to squeeze out more upgrades, I can make the game more level even if I have less units. Applying pressure forces them to make units to take the advantage on me, whilst I make probes AND units. That's the window of weakness for most races anyways, especially toss (chrono boost is not actually helpful in this case o.O) but if that window of time is wasted, you can easily turn the game in your favor. Past this stage, everything by me is only theoretical because I have never really played in the plat level (well, I have, but those were 1v1 custom games and just for fun) and most games are intense enough for my brain at gold. I have played against nGenAzazel though. To this day, I still remember trauma as he attacked me with 200 supply 10 minutes into the game with roach hydra and 3/3 upgrades. And I was only at 3 bases and 140 supply with 2/1/1...

I got promoted at 1.3k... when I was 4 gating. a tip: don't be too active, or else blizz will recognize this and put you in a silver league where 1k points is rank 10. -_- (yes, thats me, division moratun juliet O.O) but the more active you are in bronze, aka the amount of games you play, will determine how active the league you are promoted to. So be careful and don't play every single game a quick 6pool or else you will be placed in a leauge where everyone gains 1M points everyday.

OHYEAH! BROTOSS BUDDIES!!! on a more serious note, try learning 2 gate robo, learn real macro (with the robo get at least 2 obs and provided you are not playing against a terran, try aiming to transition into whatever counters them), expand at 7:00 (on a natural), 13:00, 17:00 (on a rich), and if you really go that far, 22:00. Most importantly, if you constantly produce probes and chrono boost nexus as much as possible, whilst getting the traditional deathball (collosus, lots of zealots and sentries, stalkers on the side with blink for harrassment, maybe an immortal or 2 if you see them going roaches or stalkers or the whatnot, an obs in the army always handy, at 3/3/3 by 15 minutes at the latest, you should be on optimal resource harvesters without cutting into your army by around 14:00. Your army should be maxed out once by around 12 minutes at 2/2/2, which is when you should attack, but if you were harrassed or sth and you can't get that much at least get your 3/3/3 and push in at 15 mins, no matter what. Against terran, though, instead of scrambling for the perfect counter, I tend to like getting a stargate at around 12:00, pumping out voids keeping them in secret, then going stalker/collosus to hope they go for marauders (to counter stalkers and so that they don't waste mins on rines), when things get dire, send your voids out, pick off the little marines which the voids will auto target first, pick off the marauders, then get a warp prism or 2 from your robo (chrono boosted starting from when your voids are seen), send it at the enemy, and warp in from there, sending your voids to attack as well, maybe chrono boost out a collosus... gg for them If I do need to get the perfect counter against terran though, I like to go 3 gate blink against early mmm pushes (if you don't scout an expo by 6 mins with that obs from the robo and you're playing someone who actually undesrtands terran and is not a TOTAL noob) until they get their medivacs, when I transition into 2 gate robo with some high templar in the background, where I would get my collosus with range at the back, spread out, and then my stalkers blink micro, then my high templar storm spamming the area, hoping they fall back so thta my range 9 collosus can kill. the latest the game should end is 18 mins for toss and terran, 20 minutes MAYBE for zerg if he's an annoying one with 8 bases -_-

wow....lol, hmm i guess my problem is i expanded too quickly, everytime i faces terrans, i always 1gate robo first den expand den only 2nd gate, while having an early collo i feel safer againts ther 3m rush, but sometimes, my collo just came out 1sec too late and they pulverized my armies, my main problem is fighting terrans,
for toss, well, mostly i can manage, but sometimes, when scouting fail (Eg, they block their ramp with cannons) and that is really fustrating, I dont know wad are they doing inside, i tried sending obs over and it died before reaching into the base, i tried will illu phoenix and it is the same. i tried using colo to deal with their cannons but usually they have air units to deflect my attacks.
for zerg, well, they are the least of my problems, usually can deal with them quite easily, but when they goes aggressive, I cant expand, and it is almost instant gg for me, but most of the time, it is alright XD

1gate robo is always a bad idea. like literally always... because you jsut can't get enough men to defend your colo. Don't expand too quickly against terran, if you want the other base advantage try expo-ing at 7:00, but keep them contained in their own base so that they have to use fly off, wasting lots of precious time. using an early colo though is great idea, especially if they're going mmm early push, because then they have more rines than marauders... if you win most PvPs then you should be in silver by now, cuz PvP is the most fair out of all (mirror matches are the most equal) if you really lose when the scouting fail, you should get obs and send it not through the enterance or behind them in line but somewhere in the middle. Illu phoenix also same thing. However, if that also fails than try attacking ASAP because with longer range collo you should be ahead (your macros are equal, they spent eco on cannons, you spent on things that can kill cannons with no death) 2 gate star people can be annoying, at that time what I like to do is try to warp stalkers and get blink if I see phoenix, and get a stargate just to equal out the game, maybe expand if I feel like he's not expanding enough, contain him, harrass as many of his expo's as you can to try and get him to make and waste eco on cannons there works well too.
zerg is easy for toss right now cuz they usually early expo and with toss if they can counter expo, get a collo, some stalkers, then they're fine for now, whilst the zerg is on equal base play as the toss, which means that the zerg is at the disadvantage. if they go aggressive, try going collo/stalker, making sure you throw in blink in that, and push out with collo and some stalkers, whilst keeping some zealot/stalker in base, defending, some cannons work well too, then when things look dire turn your army back, and focus on defense for a while, then get a few warp prisms and try to harrass. Basically, when you feel like you're losing, harrass (micro), and if you feel like you're winning, concentrate on the attack (macro) and warp in units.
